Check my resume, free

  1. Upload your resume: PDF, Word (.docx), plain text, or a screenshot or photo of it. It's read in your browser and never uploaded to a server.
  2. See your score: A transparent 100-point score: every check, its weight and exactly what's missing.
  3. Fix it line by line: Click a suggestion to jump to the line, or apply a stronger rewrite in one click, then download a clean PDF.

What this ATS checker looks at

Applicant tracking systems store your resume as text and let recruiters search it. A resume scores well when that text is easy to parse and full of evidence. Offerline checks:

Why one score isn't the whole story

There's no single universal ATS score: every checker uses its own rules, and real systems like Workday, Greenhouse or Lever mostly store and search your text rather than grade it. That's why Offerline shows every check behind its number instead of a mystery score.

For a specific job, paste the job post into the Job match tab: keyword coverage is what recruiters actually filter on.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ATS resume checker really free?

Yes. Upload, score, fix and download as often as you like, with no account and no credit card.

Is my resume uploaded anywhere?

No. Your file is read by your own browser and the results stay on your device. Offerline only counts anonymous usage, never your resume's content.

Which file types can I check?

PDF, Word (.docx), plain text and images (JPG, PNG), or you can paste your resume. Images and scanned PDFs are read with text recognition in your browser. Many ATS can't read image-only resumes, though, so apply with the text PDF Offerline downloads.

Will a high score get me past every ATS?

No tool can promise that. A high score means your resume is well structured and readable; matching the keywords of the specific job matters too, which is what the Job match tab checks.
